Water Pump Impellers $70.00-$130.00 A bad water pump can ruin a great weekend in a hurry. Water pump impellers should be replaced every three years to keep your motor cooling properly. A water pump impeller failure can be caused by age, or by starting the motor (even for a few seconds) without any cooling water. When the water pump fails the motor can overheat very rapidly, and potentially damage or destroy your motor, which is why impeller replacement is such an important part of any boat's maintenance routine.
