General Check
Whether you are purchasing a boat or getting ready to sell your boat a Nimmer
Marine General Check is an excellent tool to have in the marketing of your boat, or
to protect yourself when making a large investment. We are VERY thorough in
our inspection and provide you with a comprehensive checklist upon completion.
Includes: Check gear lube, grease all fittings, remove prop, check for fishline,
grease prop shaft, check engine oil, test run engine, check for leaks and
make sure engine is pumping water, check engine tune and make minor
adjustments if necessary, check all belts and hoses and tighten as
necessary, check all fluid levels, clean flame arrestor if needed , check
steering and remote control operations, check power trim operation.

Winterizing Info
A Nimmer Marine winterizing covers all of your annual maintenance. There is no
need for a spring commissioning, and we are so confident in our procedures we
GUARANTEE START UP IN THE SPRING!
Winterizing includes: Remove prop and clear fish line, grease prop shaft,
change gear lube, grease all fittings, stabilize fuel, test run engine, verify that it is
pumping water and shifting properly, check all belts and hoses, tighten as
necessary, check all fluid levels, change engine oil and oil filter, change fuel filter
if needed, clean flame arrestor, fog engine with fogging oil, drain block,
manifolds, etc., add biodegradeable antifreeze, tighten all hose clamps, fill trailer
tires, and grease bearing buddies. Winterizing prices listed above do not include
drive service, which should be performed every other year on trailered boats,
and every year on boats that are kept in the water all summer. Drive service is
an additional $129.40 and includes: removal of stern drive, check engine to drive
alignment, check and grease U-joints and gimbal bearing, and clean the drive
unit.
